VOLUNTEER
The Lisner-Louise-Dickson-Hurt Home family is comprised of not just resident families and friends, staff, and Board of Directors but also includes over 100 dedicated volunteers. Opportunities to embrace the Home and our mission of service are afforded to anyone wishing to engage in meaningful interaction with seniors. We encourage you to consider the role you might play in helping the residents of the Home live life to the fullest.
Here are just a few examples of volunteer opportunities that await you at the Lisner-Louise-Dickson-Hurt Home: serving as a personal companion to a resident; assisting with activities especially on the weekends; sharing a special skill, e.g., music, art, knitting; shooting pool and/or playing poker with the residents; shopping for a resident; and, reading to residents.
We always welcome new volunteers to our family and wish to thank you for giving of your time and talents.
